A message from Lanness Robinson, Director of Athletics,
Welcome to the 2009-2010 season! We look forward to continued success from our student-athletes, both in the classroom as well as in competition. Good sportsmanship, teamwork, integrity, and respect, together with striving for athletic excellence will help our student-athletes excel and realize their full potential. We would like to extend an invitation to all middle and high school students to explore the athletics program through this website and at their school.
In a continued partnership with Chick-fil-A and Dick’s Sporting Goods, we will be able to present $27,000 in additional scholarships to student-athletes in all 27 of our high schools this year. Teaming up with “High School Sports” at www.highschoolsports.net will allow us to provide current schedules and deliver other athletic information such as site directions and photos, to the community in a real time scenario.
The success of the Athletics Program depends not only on equipment and playing fields, but on people. We would like to thank the many people whose support and contributions make our program one of the best in the state. Thanks to the student-athletes, parents, coaches, volunteers, school personnel, officials, and fans in the community for your time, dedication, and commitment.
